GENERAL CONDITIONS OF RENTAL

BED AND BREAKFAST

1- OBJECT

This contract is intended for the exclusive use of the reservation of nights or stays in guest room (s) at the chalet “la tanière”. The owners undertake to take personal care of their guest (s) from the start to the end of their stay, in terms of hospitality, possible meals and comfort. Breakfasts are included in the provision of the guest room and not deductible if they are not consumed.

2 - DURATION OF STAY, ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

The customer signing this contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances invoke any right to remain in the premises.

Unless prior agreement, the tenant must present himself on the day specified at the times mentioned on this contract. In the event of a late or deferred arrival, the tenant must notify the owners. 

Without news of the tenant before 7 p.m., the contract would be void and the owners would be entitled to re-let the accommodation. 

In the event of an early arrival, the customer must also notify the owners to ensure their presence and availability. 

On the morning of departure, the tenant agrees to vacate the premises rented to him at the time specified in this contract. In the event of prolonged use of the premises during the day of departure, a late departure supplement may be charged to the tenant. 

3 - RESERVATION AND CONCLUSION OF THE CONTRACT

Reservations are made by email or telephone directly with the owners or through one of the reservation sites. 

The reservation is considered firm only after receipt of the deposit cashed upon receipt and deductible from the invoice on arrival unless otherwise agreed with the hostess, given the proximity of the reservation and the stay. 

The deposit must be paid no later than 5 working days from the date of the reservation request. 

The amount of the deposit is : 

* In the case of a direct reservation with the owners:

– for 1 night: the entire stay. 

– for other stays: 25% of the total price of the stay. 

* In the case of a reservation via the site www.airbnb.fr, boncoin.fr, oisanstourisme.fr : 

check with the reservation site concerned and the online payment set up for these structures. 

4 - CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER

All cancellations must be notified by post or email addressed to the owners.

* For a cancellation occurring more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival, the deposit paid as a reservation guarantee is acquired at the guesthouse as a withdrawal according to the provisions of article 1590 of the Civil Code, except force majeure. 

* For any stay canceled less than 30 days before arrival, shortened, delayed arrival, reduction in the number of rooms or no-show, the entire stay as provided for in the booking confirmation will be due (article 1590 of the Code Civil).

* If the customer cancels via the site www.airbnb.fr, leboncoin.fr or any other online reservation site : see the reservation site concerned and its conditions.

5 - CANCELLATION BY THE OWNER

Before the start of the stay, the owners cancel the stay, for reasons beyond their control, they must inform the customer as quickly as possible by phone or email. This will be refunded immediately of the sums paid. 

6 - ARRIVAL TIME

The customer must present himself on the specified day of the reservation and at the times mentioned below. The rooms are available from 4 p.m. Please notify in case of arrival after 8 p.m.

7- DEPARTURE TIME

The rooms must be vacated by 10.00 am at the latest. After 10:45 am, you will be billed for an additional night, unless the owner has previously confirmed it in writing.

8 - CANCELLATION INSURANCE

The owners draw the customer’s attention to the fact that no cancellation insurance is included in their rates. It is therefore strongly recommended that you take out one. 

9 - PAYMENT OF THE ACCOMMODATION BALANCE

The balance of the stay will be paid on arrival. Payment of the balance can be made: 

* cash 

* Wire Transfer 

* by credit card on site on arrival 

Additional services not provided for will be paid at the end of the stay (example, consumption of drinks and table d’hôtes) 

10- TOURIST TAX

The tourist tax is a local tax that the customer must pay to the owners who then pay it to the Public Treasury. It contributes to tourist development. 

Its amount varies depending on the classification or labeling of the accommodation. It is subject to people over 18 and per night. For information for the year 2021 the tax is 0.83 €. This amount is subject to annual change and cannot be committed by the owner within the framework of invoicing. 

11 - CHANGE OF ROOMS

Without the customer being able to claim any compensation, the owners reserve the right to change the room initially reserved by the customer to a room of the same or greater capacity. In this case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged. 

12 - CAPACITY

The reservation is made for a specific number of people. If the number of occupants is greater on the day of arrival, the owners are able to refuse the additional persons. 

This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owners, so that in the event of the departure of a greater number of people than those refused, no refund can be considered. 

13 - BREAKFAST

Breakfast is served upon arrival from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. On request when booking or upon arrival of guests and after validation by the hostess, breakfast can be served from 7:30 a.m. or until 9:30 a.m.

14 - PETS

This contract specifies that dogs are authorized subject to validation by the owner, and to the exclusion of any other animals given the presence of a dog on site. If the customer nevertheless presents himself in the company of a pet, the owners are entitled to terminate the contract and claim the balance of the stay. 

15 - ART OF LIVING, USE OF PREMISES

Respect for a certain art of living is required of all guests to guarantee the tranquility of the place and the comfort of its guests. 

In addition, it is requested not to smoke, not to vape, inside the rooms and common areas, and as far as possible to stay away from open doors and windows so as not to inconvenience the occupants. 

The customer agrees to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to declare, and financially assume, any possible degradation for which he may be responsible. 

Children in the chalet or in the garden are the sole responsibility of their parents. 

16 - COMPUTING AND FREEDOMS

In accordance with the law of January 6, 1978 relating to computers, files and freedoms, you have the right to access and rectify data concerning you. The owner agrees not to transmit the information you have communicated to other companies or organizations. 

These conditions of sale are subject to change at any time without notice. Acceptance and compliance with these general conditions of sale are deemed to have been acquired upon payment of the deposit or deposit.
